Bodisutra started life in Chennai India, and on the shores of Lake Manosarovar in Tibet. It has now grown into a full-blown animation. Nathan Curry, the Founder, emerged from swimming in Lake Manosarovar and a puppy who was to become the inspiration for Norman the dog came running across the steppes of the roof of the world.
Years later, while snorkelling off the coast of Baja California, the name Sutranovum came to him. Sutranovum is the mother brand.
.The Sanskrit word "Mansarovar" (मानसरोवर) is a combination of two words:
"Mānas" (मानस्) means:
"mind (in its widest sense as applied to all the mental powers),
intellect, intelligence, understanding, perception, sense, conscience"
while "sarovara" (सरोवर) means
"a lake or a large pond deep enough for a lotus."
Out of these humble beginnings, a canvas of two different vehicles in one emerged, both allowing for an exploration of wisdom and love. We invite you to join this journey in the lake of your mind that is deep enough for your blooming lotus of joy and happiness. These things are at the very heart of your being.

Our focus with Sutranovum is to create a foundation that marries three sectors:
- Publishing and Gifts - Focused on enlightenment
- Yoga Products
- High quality clothes
We are primarily a media, publication and licensing company. Within Sutranovum is Bodisutra: an animation company. It is the first animation comedy of its kinds - designed to look at enlightenment through humor. Bodisutra is the child of sutranvoum (though the child came first), leading with humor and depth. Bodisutra was inspired by the business savvy of Belle and Boo and the timeless beauty of Winne the Pooh.
Both came out of ten years studying yoga in India, studies with Tara Singh in Los Angeles into the Course in Miracles and forays into evolutionary biology at Oxford University (the monkey character is a play on Darwin's monkeys).
As we build both brands we decided to invite others to connect with us. We are seeking to connect with licensing agents, manufactuerers, marketing agencies, journalists, PR specialists, animators, buyers, publicists, garment industry professionals, Angel investors, VCs,, E-Commerce specialists etc to drive conversations that support our growth.
We look forward to expanding the conversation as life and growth inspire it.
